Tajay Ashmeade
Tajay Ashmeade is a Jamaican-born immigrant and Bronx, New York, native who turned her challenges into her greatest strengths. A former gang member and special education student, she went on to become a professional women's basketball player, Olympic qualifier, Ph.D. candidate, and professor.
Tajay changed the narrative of her life by turning her adversities into the foundation for Adversity A.D.D.'s Versatility, transforming obstacles into opportunities for growth and success. The founder of Taking the LEAP with Tajay Ashmeade and co-founder of Nurture SPRT, she is committed to using her story to inspire and empower others. She knows the odds were stacked against her, but she refuses to let them define her future.
